Privacy policy
Sleke Migrate moves data you choose from your old phone to your new SLEKE phone over your local network. This policy covers the Sleke Migrate app for iPhone, iPad, and Android.

What the app accesses
The app requests access only when a feature needs it:
- Camera: to scan the pairing code displayed on your new phone.
- Contacts: to show and export the contacts you include in a transfer, including their names, contact details, and available contact photos.
- Photos and videos: to show albums and thumbnails, and send the items you select.
- Files and folders: to read folders or files you choose through the device picker and send their contents.
- Local network: to connect to the receiving phone and send the transfer.
A transfer also includes the sending device’s name, operating-system version, app version, and details needed to place the selected items on the new phone, such as file names, types, sizes, and folder paths. The pairing code supplies the receiving device’s local connection details.
Where your transfer goes
The selected content travels directly from the sending device to the receiving phone on the same local Wi-Fi network. The app uses the pairing code to connect to that receiver. Sleke Migrate does not upload transferred contacts, photos, videos, or files to a SLEKE cloud service or use an account to complete a transfer.
The transferred content remains on your devices. You control what is selected before sending and can cancel a transfer in the app.
Diagnostics and third parties
iPhone and iPad: the current iOS app does not send analytics or crash reports to SLEKE. It may write transfer errors to the device’s system log, which the app does not upload to us.
Android: the app sends crash and error diagnostics to Sentry, a service provider we use to investigate faults. Reports can include app and device details, error messages, and diagnostic breadcrumbs; an error message may contain a file name or album identifier. Sentry is not used to relay your selected transfer content. The app does not use your transfer content for advertising or sell it.
Retention and your choices
We do not keep a server copy of transferred content. You can revoke camera, contacts, photo, or local-network access in your device settings. Uninstalling the app removes its local app data; content already sent to the new phone must be removed on that phone.
Android diagnostic reports are kept under the Sentry project’s retention settings and deleted after that period. If you contact us for support, we use the information you provide to respond. Email contact@sleke.io to ask about diagnostic retention, request deletion of a report we can identify, or request deletion of your support correspondence.
This website
This page is hosted by GitHub Pages, which may process ordinary web request information when you visit it. The download page also requests public release information from GitHub. Those website requests do not contain your transfer content.
The SLEKE online store privacy policy covers the store and is separate from this app policy.
